Project management

Our Director Andy Christian heads up the Project Management & Fit Out team. Pace Project Management act as the link between the client, project consultants and the construction company. We have consistently delivered value to our clients through our involvement at the earliest stage of the project in delivering the best possible results, managing commercial construction projects of all sizes.

Pace Project Management has several experienced project managers, including our three directors. Together they all bring many years of experience from within the national as well as international markets.

Commercial Fit Out

For the first 10 years of Pace Project Management’s business life, Fit Out was our core business. The Pace team maintains a healthy expertise in this area with the ability to take projects from the client’s brief to the handing over of the keys. Pace Project Management will coordinate the design, pricing and construction of your Fit Out.

Quantity Surveying

The Quantity Surveying (QS) team is lead by Our director Neil Walker. Neil is a Registered Quantity Surveyor and has been a member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveying since 1992

Neil has extensive on the job experience in both the Pre and Post Contract periods of projects. His knowledge, gained from working equally between the professional and the main contracting sides of quantity surveying during his career, is invaluable to our clients and their projects.

Financial Management

From early project feasibilities and elemental cost planning through to management of the tender process, contract documentation and project administration, our QS team at Pace Project Management can offer our clients a full financial management service for their projects through to negotiation of the final account, all of which is critical to the success of your projects.

We can also work as Principal's Representative (NZS 3915) or as Engineer to the Contract (NZS 3910)

Development Management

Using our in-house model template, Pace Project Management has the capability to review your project or potential project early in the timeline and assess the development potential. This early development budget is updated as the project proceeds and will be the master document for the overall development budget.

Pace facilitates the resources developers may require from initial design appointments, concept designs and the master programme. We will assist in value managing your project which includes focusing on a ‘best for project’ and most cost effective approach throughout.

Construction Management

Pace Project Management is in the unique position of also being able to Construction Manage your repair or refurbishment project. This will involve facilitating all the various consultants required, detailed scoping, pricing and development of the repair strategy and programme. We engage the various sub trades directly and in some cases the consultants to deliver the finished project. We will often carry this type of work out on a completely open book basis. Pace maintains this transparency by always obtaining pricing from multiple suppliers and subcontractors and this enables the client to be part of the pricing process also.
